1. CIDA KLIP Vocational and Hygiene /sanitation Training for 240 Kochie
Main Activities

Providing the following vocational and Hygiene and sanitation awareness training for 150 trainees in Haji Fazal Muhammad Village Daman district of Kandahar Province in the following skills:

Food Distributed to trainees after every two months:
WFP released ( in three time) food for trainees for Haji Fazal village near to baloch bawri Daman district ( 28.209) Mt Mix food 0.45 Mt salt , 3.6 Mt pulses, 1.653Mt vegetable oil, 22.506 Mt wheat ) HAPA have distributed to 150 trainees and also WFP released ( in three time)16.817Mt Mix food .for trainees to second district near to Roshan office Kandahar city(0.27 Mt salt, 2.1 Mt pulses, 0.993Mt Vegetable oil, 13.454 Mt wheat) HAPA distributed food to 90 trainees Objective:
To address short term hanger and to encouraged the Kochias for getting such kinds of skills

Kits and Certificates distributed to 240 Trainees Objective:
To start These Kochies their own business with the tools kit this kit will enable them to start their business easily and earn income for the family.

Project activities monitored :
HAPA staff carried out monitoring/supervision once in each week and also this project monitored by Representatives of department of social Affairs, disable and martyred, WFP and department of Kochies HAPA has been prepared Monitoring report HAPA shared with CIDA and WFP with mid term and final reports Objective:
To save project from failure

Specifications of trainings were:
The trainees of the training were Just for Kowhais that they were jobless, Poor and they lost the animals during last drought Training for all closes ware for 3 .5hours and 10 minutes each day, literacy six days in a week, hygiene and sanitation training for all mentioned classes was in every week from 30 Minutes to 45 minutes for each class.The participants participating in the Motorbike and generator repair .tailoring, masonry training, were the same as those participating in the and sanitation training for all mentioned classes training Curriculum for hygiene and sanitation training made by HAPA and Curriculum for masonry, motorbike, Tailoring program made and consistent with standards and curriculum set by MOLSAM The trainers for male classes were Male and for female classes were Female HAPA provided monitoring staff (one male and one female) this staff have job to monitor the Project

3. Cordaid
3.1 Small Livestock Restocking Rehabilitation and cleaning of 20 wells and 50 Navers in Tangai area, Takhtatpool district Kandahar province

Objectives
This project was planed to rehabilitate and clean 20 wells & 50 Nawars in Tangai area and increase the water volume in the above-mentioned wells and Nawars. HAPA and Cordaid has planned to secure the life of 2770 labourers (of 121163 man-days) vulnerable families under food for work program in Tangai area, Takhtapool district through WFP/Cordaid assistance, rehabilitation and cleaning of 20 wells & 50 has been Done

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECT

Food for unskilled laborers
WFP is paying 1,759 US$ for the project which make 5 US$ per MT food in addition to this amount WFP will provide contractual amount of 351.93 MT mixed food commodities such as 288.48 MT wheat, pulses 34.61 MT, oil 23.07 MT and 5.77 MT salt should be distributed to unskilled labourers (of 121163 man-days) in Tangai area, Takhtapool district, as per rehabilitation of work done on wells and Navers

3.2 Cordaid Small Livestock Restocking Rehabilitation and cleaning of 36 wells and 61 Navers in Registan area of Kandahar province

Objectives The project planed has been achieved, which was the rehabilitation and cleaning of 36 wells & 61 Nawars in Registan area for increasing of water volume in the above-mentioned wells and Nawars. HAPA and Cordaid has planned to secure the life of 1329 labourers vulnerable families under food for work program in Registan area through WFP/Cordaid assistance, rehabilitation and cleaning of 55 Navers 32 wells has been has been completed and the remaining 6 Navers and 4 wells were not attended.

During the impletion of the project HAPA personnel has not been faced any security difficulties and problems in the project area, community and residents of the area are involving in the project activities, this was the main reason that we did not faced any problem.

1. IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECT

2. Shora of Registan district has coordinated and managed for implementation of rehabilitation and cleaning of Navers and wells. From the conducted activities, 54,490 M3 of 55 Navers and 7,976 M3 of 32 wells are rehabilitated and cleaned this quantity of work has been surveyed.

Implication strategy

The following equipment has been distributed to the labors:
Shovel, Pickaxe, Hammer, Hand Saw , Khar Wood Plank ,Nils Rope Wheels Wheelbarrows and Camels

Work done

1. SPECIFIC ISSUES
According the request of the labours, HAPA has distributed WFP food to the labours in Panjwai and Mirweis Meena to labours of Navers and wells project in Registan.

2. Food for work
WFP provided 2,320 US$ for the project in addition to this amount WFP has provided contractual amount of 486.180 MT mixed food commodities such as 398.593 MT wheat, pulses 47.892 MT, oil 31.808 MT and 7.905 MT salt and has been distributed to unskilled labourers (of 167,478 man-days) in Registan district, as per rehabilitation of work done on wells and Navars the mentioned amount of food commodities has been distributed to 1329 unskilled labours:

3. CONCLUSION
With implementation of the project the residents, the district administrator and CDC of Registan district are satisfied from the result of the output of the project and 32 wells are giving water and 55 Navers are able to use for the irrigation of the agriculture land.
