1. 1. Emergency assistance: Distribution of Emergency Kits (NFIs)for more than 32500 Natural Disaster affected families such as floods, drought, harsh winters sow fall, Hail , heavy rainfall etc in southern region

Objectives


Methodology for Implementation

HAPA with the financial support of IOM provides full hard work to distribute emergency Kits (NFIs) during natural disasters, in addition to its development support the children and women of southern region of Afghanistan, HAPA organization is working closely with the government and community when required or possible. In the last decade the southern region of Afghanistan has faced critical emergency due to natural disaster such as floods, drought, harsh winters sow fall, Hail etc. HAPA with IOM has been involved in such emergencies by supporting most vulnerable affected families and has been an active partner of the government in related emergency.
IOM zone office has its own emergency preparedness plan for each year which describes the minimum target population under the response plan for any emergency.
HAPA with IOM conducted in close cooperation with the United Nations system and other organizations and with due respect for individual mandates and expertise. Its lead role under the cluster approach in assessment management during natural disasters, by using IOM rapid assessment form Partner agencies such as, governments, HAPA and other NGOs and UN agencies continue to respond to emergency as they occur to save lives of the affected children and women etc during any natural disaster.



1.2. Construction of Toilet
Main Activities
Construction of 60 Units Toilets in Spin Buldak Schools
Objective

To provide hygiene/ sanitation promotion Facilities for students in Spin Buldak District of Kandahar Province
HAPA with the financial support of IOM constructed 48 units Toilets in the following Schools:
Construction 12 units Toilets in New Killy Haji Baz Muhammad School Spin Buldak Construction 12 units Toilets in Rahrabat Zara Kala , Anbeea Village School Spin Buldak Construction 36 units Toilets in Spin buldak bazaar Ghazy Abdullah Khan High School Spin Buldak
According to the norm and standers of contraction; all the contraction related activities were done under the close coordination and mentoring of representative of IOM Embassy, Education deportment of Kandahar and spin Buldak Education Deportment and HAPA

Out Put

2800 Students got Modern Toilets and hygiene/ sanitation promotion Facilities that caused relief and improvement in health and key sanitation practices of target population so the saved from different disease and expenditures and they got good chance and safety conduction for getting education in the school

2.1 Distribution of Improved Seed
Main Activities
Providing and distribution of Seed and Agricultural Tools for 200 formers
Objective
To provide and distribute approved seed and agriculture Tools for 200 farmers 140 in Arghandab and 60 in Panjwayi district of Kandahar Province

HAPA with the financial support of FAO Distributed the following Items

1. Seed and Fertilizer
Improved Seed (Seed Wheat PBW-154)50Kg, DAP fertilizer 50 Kg, and Urea 50Kg

2. Tools
One Piece Shovels, One Piece Pickax, one Pot water scatter One Piece hoe

3. Vegetables Seed
Okra, Carrot, Mung Bean, Onion, Tomato, Radish and Cauliflower

4. Providing and submitted brochures to 200 farmers about Direction of farming , watering and giving DAP fertilizer and etc to the land
HAPA distributed the Seeds, tools and fertilizer to the farmers with close According Arghandab and panjwayi Districts Agricultural extension workers the list of farmers provided By HAPA, Districts Governor and CDC members of mentioned Districts all the related activities of distribution done under the control of mention parties and FAO

2.2 Constriction of 150 Cubic Meters Intake and Protection Walls
Objective:
To protect the houses and agricultural land of the farmers from the destructive risk associated with seasonal flood and torrential water
Methodology for Implementation

HAPA with financial support of FAO constructed 150 Cubic Meters Intake and Protection Walls in Daman District of Kandahar Province inhabitant 50 houses and 300 Jiribs Agricultural land saved from the devastating risk associated with seasonal flood and torrential water descended from the surrounded mountains. 300 Jobless unskilled labors of hired from the site to secure access to employment opportunities in there's area and the jobless skilled labors of village and neighbor villages got job opportunities in there's area . list of list of jobless most vulnerable workers provided By HAPA, and villagers , all the related activities of done under the control of HAPA elders of Village and FAO



3. UNDCP funded project
Main Activities
Delivered DAP fertilizer
Objective
To delivered 130 MT DAP fertilizer to Khakhrez,Ghorak and Maiwand Districts of Kandahar province
HAPA with the financial support of UNDCP delivered 130MT DAP fertilizer to the following Districts,
50 MT to Khakhrez District
30 MT to Ghorak District
50 MT to Maiwand District
HAPA provided transportation and Submitted the mention Items to UNDCP representative in the mentioned District for UNDCP futures action

4. UNOPS Funded project
Main Activities
Construction of 15 Bridge and Culverts in panjwayi District of Kandahar province
Objective

To facilitate the transportation of Zangeeabad and Sapeedrawan villagers, vehicles and agricultural products from farm to the main road and market through Construction of 15 Bridge and Culverts and providing job opportunity for jobless most vulnerable people of Pajwayi District of Kandahar Province.



Brief project description,

HAPA constructed 15 Bridge and Culverts with the Technical and financial support of UNOPS office in Zageeabad and Speedrawan villages of panjwai Districts of Kandahar province ,275 Jobless unskilled labors of hired from the site to secure access to employment opportunities in there's area and the jobless skilled labors of village and neighbor villages got job opportunities in there's area . list of list of jobless most vulnerable workers provided By HAPA, and villagers , the work of constriction done according to the map and rule of construction ,project activates were monitored by UNOPS ,HAPA and representative of District



Out put
3930 families (direct and indirect) got access to pass their vehicles and transfer their Agricultural products to Market easily so villagers got market facilities for their products
Tertiary roads of Villages Zageeabad and Speedrawan of Panjwayi District Connected with main road of Pajwayi District and with Kandahar and Kabul Main Road
Job opportunity provided to2 75 jobless people
Trust of People builds on Government of Afghanistan

5. Joint project of HAPA with ACTD
Main Activities
Human rights Awareness training to 921 persons including, Women Men, children, Shopkeepers, Teaches, Student (Boys an girls) ,Staff members of Government and non government Organizations Disable, IDPs, Returnees , Nomidic (Chochi) and Jobless people
Objective
To got Children, men, women Children, prisoners, Disable, IDPs, Returnees Jobless, teacher Students and Nomidic information about their rights

Methodology of the training
This training was joint project of HAPA and ACTD under the re-granting funded program so the conducting of training, selection of trainees , appointment of location for training ,providing Curriculum , time table of the training ,Making of warplane, preparation of attendance sheet , providing refreshment to the trainees were related to HAPA ;so HAPA with suggestion of line Deportment made plan for a training session, one session was toke minimum 2 hours , the participants of one session were from 20 to 30 trainees , the session was toke separately for Men Women ,Nomidic , staff of organization and etc in their working place, in each week we toke two sessions ,during five month training totally 921 person from different mentioned groups. During the training HAPA provided refreshment to the trainees


Main topic of the Training
The main topics of the training were the following:

Explanation of Human respect and the women right, equal right in politics, economics, cultural, and social fields of life since beginning of Islam up to now with men, 7 principles, Standards of human rights, descriptions of the Education is the Islamic rights of women’s, rights of man , women Children , prisoners ,Disable, IDPs , Returnees Jobless ,teacher Students a in the society Human rights international statements and their necessity ,children rights on community, parents and other elders, Explanation of Human right respect in the light of Islam and society, necessity of Education in the Islamic, social and economical rule of Both Man and women are which living in the society. Women right outside the family according to Islamic law and regulations, Standards of Both Man and women education necessary for her children, Explaining the Presentation of violence and force between husband and wife in home student, and teaches, prisoner and jailers, reasons for violence’s and finding the for solution and the of that and Explaining marriage arrangement according to Islamic points of view and point out our community violence against tradition marriage, Explaining and pointing out of critical issues against human rights of our society, Informing parents to prevent their children’s from illegal and hard works. Informing the listeners that all Muslims are brothers and sisters and have equal rights in Islamic and afghan society. Recalling international statement some points of human rights that every human is independent, Explaining and pointing out the benefits of Children’s rights in the society, Prevention of children’s from a load / illegal work in their small age, Informing the beneficiaries and building the knowledge about children’s rights, Disadvantages and side effect of daughters marriage in exchange of a lot of money

6.1 Cleaning of Canal
Main Activities
Cleaning of 6 Km Canal Sub branch of Ahmad Shahi Canal from Charbagh To Sarpuza Area and Zoor Shar of Kandahar City of Kandahar Province
Objectives



Specifications of the project: HAPA implemented with the financial support of UNDP office and collaboration of RRD cleaning of sub canal of Ahmad Shahi Canal with the following specification
Present condition of Canal:
TOP (Beginning 4 M, Middle 4.20 M, End 3.8 M) with slight difference of changed
section of Canals
Depth (Beginning 2.10 M , Middle 1.85 M, End 1.80 M) with slight difference of changed section of Canals
Bottom width (Beginning 2.5 M , Middle 4.3 M, End 1.6 M) with slight difference of changed section of Canals
Slope length (Beginning 3.3 M. Middle 3 M, End 2 M) with slight difference of changed section of Canals
Total measurement in m3:
6000 *2.8*1.92=32226 m3
The total quantity of silt which were cleaned from canal is 6000*0.5*1.8=5400m3
The total quantity of Grass which removed from canal is 3750 M2

Methodology HAPA selected jobless labors for work with suggestion of elders of villagers, RRD and UNDP representative the work of the project was controlling by HAPA supervisor daily, attendance sheet for worker was present for mentors, the project was mentored by RRD,HAPA Villagers and UNDP At the end of every week received cash for labors in presence of RRD, HAPA Villagers and UNDP representatives the duration of the work was from 8AM to 4PM daily 3 months

Output
Natural resources developed and managed water conservation, water harvesting, increased the capacity of water more than previous old capacity, jobless most vulnerable people got job opportunity; trust and good relationship build between people and government of Afghanistan

6.2 Rehabilitation of school
Main Activities Objectives Brief description of project
Thei project was funded by UNDP ,HAPA selected jobless very poor people form Mashoor and Dalandi Villages for work with suggestion of elders of villagers, RRD and UNDP representative the work of the project was controlling by HAPA supervisor daily, attendance sheet for worker was present for mentors, the project was mentored by RRD,HAPA Villagers and UNDPAt the end of every week received cash for labors in presence of RRD, HAPA Villagers and UNDP Output
The school of Mashoor and Balndi villages of Dand District of Kandahar Province rehabilitated and reactivated with installation Get, painting construction of two new room, construction of boundary wall , job opportunity provide for 6800 jobless most vulnerable people, Trust made and increased of the people on government of Afghanistan For 1250 students provided good opportunity for getting education
