Humanitarian Action for People of Afghanistan (HAPA) was founded on 1st January 1991, registered with the Afghanistan Ministry of economy (New registration Number 109), Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul Nimroz & Uruzgan Economy Departments, working in the southern region provinces (Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul, Nimroz & Uruzgan). Humanitarian Action for the people of Afghanistan (HAPA) as a national NGO has been working since 1991 in the southern region (Kandahar, Helmand, Nimroz, Zabul and Uruzgan) with experienced and skillful staff members in every sector. HAPA has main Office in Kandahar province located in Shahr-e=Now Chawk, District # 6 of Kandahar province and it has sub-offices one in each of (Helmand, Zabul, Nimroz and Uruzgan) provinces. As HAPA is the implementing partner (IP) of all UN Agencies (UN-WFP, UNHCR, UNCIEF, UNODC, UNOCHA, UNAMA UNDP, UNFAO, IOM) and international Organizations (JICA, Japan Embassy, JICA-PCI, Cord-aid, CID-KLIP, CIDA Agriculture team, ASGP, U.S Embassy IPA, DAI and HAPA has implemented different types of projects during the 30-year period.
